What is the Paddy’s Day Dip?
The Paddy’s Day Dip is a fun, feel‑good fundraising challenge where you take a quick cold‑water dip — in the sea, a lake, a pool, or even at home — on or around St Patrick’s Day in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation. It’s all about enjoying the moment, staying safe, and raising whatever you can to help fund our cancer awareness and support services. Every dip counts, and every euro makes a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to Holly and Jamie and all our incredible supporters who have raised almost €40,000 to support men and women affected by cancer.
Thank you so much from everyone you have helped.

Holly and Jamie
Holly Carpenter and her fiancé Jamie Hunt have been raising money for the Marie Keating Foundation since 2024.
Since her Dad Karl's cancer diagnosis in 2020, Holly and Jamie wanted to do even more to support the Marie Keating Foundation cancer support services, which are provided free of charge to anyone who needs them.
Holly's fiancé, Jamie Hunt, also understands the pain of seeing a loved one face a cancer diagnosis. His father Keith was diagnosed with terminal cancer and sadly passed away in September 2024.

Current estimates state that almost 45,000 people in Ireland get cancer each year.
There is a ripple effect that comes with each diagnosis leaving friends and family members feeling upset and worried about their loved ones. But they are not alone.
With your support the Marie Keating Foundation can be there for anyone facing a cancer diagnosis or worried about cancer.
