Have a quiz and have some fun!

Whilst we are asking men to answer a few questions about their health, why not ask your friends a few questions and raise money to support men affected by Prostate Cancer.

The pro"state a ya!"

Dress up or down for a day at home, work, or play.

Here’s an easy and fun way to raise crucial funds for the Marie Keating Foundation’s prostate services. Who doesn’t want a day when you don’t have to wear the office dress code? Think of it as a grown-up version of ‘no uniform day’ for schools. In fact why don’t you wear a school uniform to work! Or meet pals for an 80’s themed dinner. Meet for brunch in pyjamas. Or just keep it simple and hang out in t-shirt and jeans. You decide exactly how to do it. On your own. Or as part of your tribe.

And don’t forget to share selfies, photos, videos – or challenge friends, family or colleagues to take your lead. Using the hashtag #SUFYP

There are so many other ways you can help

Some people, are running marathons, others are hosting coffee mornings.  The choice is entirely yours. But if you are still not sure what type of fundraiser you want to host, here are some more easy and fun suggestions.

Bake sale – A classic fundraiser, mainly because people love bake sales.

Auction – Get some friends and local businesses to donate prizes and auction them.

Get some balls.  What better way to help raise awareness among men than to host a charity football game or 5-a-side side tournament.

Video gamer.  EA FIFA Football tournament, Microsoft Flight Simulator Fly-In, Stream it on Twitch or have your friends over and raise money to support males impacted by prostate cancer.

Climb a mountain or swim in a lake.  Why not organise a sponsored hike or run or swim. Just remember to always make sure that you are safe by taking the appropriate safety precautions, wearing the appropriate clothing and always checking the weather conditions.

Swear jar. You could keep a swear jar in your office or work place but make sure to make the swear fine a substantial one. Those €5 and €10 notes will soon add up.

Whatever way you chose to take part, thank you.
