Our authorised face-to-face fundraising team is currently active across Ireland, speaking to members of the public about the work of the Marie Keating Foundation and inviting people to support our services through regular monthly donations.
Why We Fundraise Face-to-Face
Face-to-face fundraising allows us to speak directly with local communities about the work of the Marie Keating Foundation and the impact regular donations have on cancer patients and their families across Ireland.
Regular monthly gifts provide reliable funding that helps us:
- Deliver cancer information and support services
- Provide nursing support and patient assistance
- Fund cancer awareness and education programmes
- Reach more individuals and families affected by cancer
- Plan for future service delivery with confidence

Our fundraising representatives are fully trained and authorised to represent the Marie Keating Foundation.
Our fundraisers will always:
✅ Wear official Marie Keating Foundation identification
✅ Carry a valid fundraising ID badge
✅ Use a secure electronic tablet
✅ Clearly explain how your donation will support our work
✅ Offer the option of a monthly Direct Debit donation
Our fundraisers will never:
❌ Ask for cash donations
❌ Accept cash or cheque payments
❌ Request your bank details on paper forms
❌ Pressure you into making a donation
❌ Ask for your PIN or online banking password
Your Donation Is Protected
All donations made through our face-to-face fundraising team are processed through the secure SEPA Direct Debit system.
As a supporter, you remain in control at all times and can:
- Change your monthly donation amount
- Pause your donation
- Cancel your Direct Debit
