Help me make a difference.
The 7 7 s for the 1 in 7.
Perky Peaks Challenge!
This is a big one.
The Mourne Mountains Seven Sevens Challenge, with a twist 😜
On 9th August 2025 I’ll be hiking 20 miles, ascending 8,400ft across the 7 highest peaks in the Mourne Mountains, hoping to complete it in 12-14 hours, while donning a giant boob outfit.
Yes, I’m questioning my life choices again 🤦♀️
Why am I doing this?
Well simply because I am so feckin grateful to be able to, and to also raise awareness and give back a little to the wonderful Marie Keating Foundation.
One in 7 women will develop breast cancer in our lifetime. And for those of us that are living with or beyond this diagnosis, we are all too aware that behind mountains are mountains.
So the 7 peaks for the 1 in 7 seemed fitting.
If you can spare a few quid, please donate here to help those who help us to live our best lives after a breast cancer diagnosis.
“The best views often come
after the hardest of climbs.
One foot in front of the other.
One step at a time.”
Wish me luck! I’m gonna need it.
Hopefully I don’t make too much of a t*t of myself!
