Camino 2025 fundraising.

  • 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime
I want to focus on the here & now, I'm alive & healthy..... not the past or the future.... however to get to my future I must accept my past. 

On the 31st October 2023 I was diagnosed with a DCIS (stage 2 estrogen positive) aka breast cancer 🎀 ... by the 14th November I'd had the lump & my 1st lymphnode removed, my diagnosis was good, early detection and follow up radiation .... 

Its been a crazy & tough year, I've tried to remained positive & fear has never driven the car, it's been a front seat passenger but mainly a back seat driver... 

So why not challenge myself physically & mentally.... to process my own journey & support anyone else going through or been through any type of cancer diagnosis or treatment... so I've decided to join The Maria Keating Foundation Camino 2025

I'd appreciate anything you can give towards me continuing to face this head on 💜

Annagassan 10k - Noel Carroll

Today was the rescheduled 10k, I completed it and am very proud

Unfortunately due to adverse weather and safety issues the Annagassan 10k was postponed today.... I did apx 8k walk with my Niece Sophia and Cousin Enda so I felt a sense of achievement and satisfaction for the donations so far.... thank you each one of you for your kindness 💜

So to start my goal of Camino 2025, I will complete the Annagassan 10k on Saturday 23rd November, this race is run in loving memory of my late Uncle Noel Carroll who was an Irish middle distance runner who won a bronze medal in the 1969 European Indoor Athletics Championships
